I must say that I am confused as to how this is a prophecy of unity.

I guess I'm thinking of "my people" in the way it's usually meant in the Old Testament (the Israelites), but perhaps this should be understood to mean all people?
Ya, should mean all people. This is explained in the Book of Certitude, where in particular the last line is pointed out - "the wolf and lamb shall feed together" - that therefore there shall be no oppression, and the harmony that shall exist will be equivalent to a state where the wolf and lamb feed together.
